Registration Process

Registration for the 2020-2021 academic year will begin February 3, 2020. 

All students, both Full Day and Half Day will be granted a spot the integrated program.

Applications will be accepted from:

  • February 3 – February 28: school days only from 10:00AM – 2:00PM at the Bresnahan School Office (Door #1). Please note the offices will be closed from February 17 - 21 for school vacation week.

  • Or may be scanned and emailed to or

  • Or may be mailed to the school

Complete packets will be available at the Parent Information Night, Wednesday, January 29, 2020.


Only complete applications will be accepted. The following documents comprise a complete application.

Please make copies of the following to submit with your application:

  1.  Your child’s birth certificate

  2.  Your child’s most recent health record including lead test, immunization and physical (or MA Health Form)

  3.  Proof of Newburyport Residency (must be one of the following: utility bill, ex: water bill, electricity bill, cable bill, mortgage/lease agreement)


In addition, FULL DAY KINDERGARTEN applications require a $380 registration fee (check or money order) made payable to Newburyport Public Schools.  No cash or credit cards accepted.

Notification of your child’s application status will be mailed home in mid-March.
